A Collection of 30 Years

Behind regiujsag.hu stands nearly 30 years of collecting work.

For me, this is not simply a collection of old papers, but the preservation of real imprints of time.

Since childhood, I have been fascinated by the past, family history, and how much an original newspaper can preserve from a specific era.

While building my family tree, I began to focus more consciously on period newspapers, because an old issue often tells more about an era than any later recollection.

The collection mainly consists of rarer, historically interesting issues with special news value.

To me, these are not simply newspapers, but preserved stories.

The collection includes daily newspapers, weekly papers, magazines, and various thematic publications.

I organize the newspapers by date, and I personally check every copy before it is passed on.

It is important to me that only original period newspapers are included in the collection.

I do not deal with copies or reproductions, but with genuine newspaper issues printed in their own time.

To me, a newspaper is not just paper.

It is a preserved moment from the past.
